On April the 28, Top 3D Expo Education 2021 conference was held. At the event, the experts discussed digital and additive technologies in education: 3D printing, 3D scanning, VR technologies and robotics.
Vadim Fomichev, Sales Director at Thor3D, took part in the discussion “Cases of using optical 3D scanners in education”. He was joined by Artem Krasovsky, head of educational projects at RangeVision, Ivan Stetsky, specialist in educational projects at Top 3D Group and Marianna Kreshtin, laboratory assistant at Russian Technological University (MIREA).
The experts discussed the specifics of implementing 3D scanners in educational institutions, such as schools, universities, and the development of methodological and educational programs for them.
