We are pleased to introduce a new release of Calibry Nest software. The new version is already available for download in our Download Center.
What's new in Calibry Nest 3.7?
1. Added the ability to display a mesh (meshes) without smoothing
In previous versions of the software, the mesh display was only available with smoothing, which is preferable in most cases.
However, sometimes it may be necessary to display a mesh without smoothing. In the new release, smoothing can be temporarily disabled, allowing you to get a better look at the additional details and features of a model. All this gives more information and control when working on a 3D scan.
To disable smoothing, turn off “Shaded” tool
2. Added possibility to smooth the whole model or a fragment of it
To smooth the entire model, use the smoothing tool with the Shift key. Use the Alt key to smooth a closed fragment.
3. Grid (mesh) simplification is significantly accelerated due to the use of multithreading
Now your work will be even faster and you can spend time on higher priority tasks.
4. Improved stability with integrated graphics cards, including Live3D
5. Added double-click navigation and zoom (convenient when working with touchpad)
We continue our work on making 3D scanner operation more mobile, including data processing. Now it will be even easier to process 3D scans using the touchpad: a double tap in the view window allows you to move or zoom a model.
6. The progress bar and work log panel have been redesigned: they have become more informative
Now it will be easier for you to track your work on 3D scans thanks to additional progress information:
7. New features have been added to the Ruler tool, including the generation of measurement reports
Now users will have access to a window where measurements are entered. The obtained values can be saved to a table and data can be exported for further reports.
8. Fixed minor bugs, improved stability
We appreciate customer feedback, and are constantly working to improve the quality of our product. We look forward to receiving feedback at support@thor3dscanner.com
